“How do I connect to an in-wall wiring system? I currently have a Bose Lifestyle 12 system connecting to an in-wall speaker wire system which supports 3 front speakers and 2 rear speakers. I use standard RCA plugs with banana plug connectors to connect the Bose wires to the in-wall plate and also to the Bose speakers from the wall. I noticed that the Bose Series II direct reflecting speakers have proprietary plugs on both ends (subwoofer connection and connection to the Bose speakers. Is there some kind of adaptor I can use to connect the proprietary plug from the sub-woofer to my in-wall plate and then from the wall to the speakers?”

Yeah that's the down side to proprietary connectors they use... honestly the only way you could use in in-wall plates with system is by cutting wires and then plugging into Cut end into RCA Plugs. But the issue with that it'd void warranty. Honestly Bose speakers are not the highest quality speakers if you afford in wall wiring system I'd honestly suggest going to Sound Advice or Best Buy and buying speakers/receiver system separately. Which would be my first choice for your situation... personally these sound good enough and is a more affordable route.
