A:AnswerHello Todd, It is possible. If you connect your cable/sat box to the SoundTouch 520 console via HDMI and then connect a second video output from the cable/sat box to another video input on your TV, you should be able to choose your audio source, then change inputs on the TV to access the video stream. Many cable/sat boxes do not have 2 HDMI outputs, so you may need to use component (red/blue/green) connections for the second video stream.

A:AnswerThe Bose SoundTouch 520 is signal sensing 100-240 V so you should have no problem. You may call Bose technical service at 1-800-379-2073 to order the proper power cords. Support hours are Monday - Friday 9:00AM to 9:00PM and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 7:00PM EST.
A:AnswerHello Joe. Thank you for reaching out. The rear speaker wires are 50 feet and the front speakers are 20 feet. Usually our speaker wire is 16 gauge. Thanks!
A:AnswerThank you for the excellent question. While we do not have a completely wireless surround system, the SoundTouch 520 does have a wireless bass module which connects to the system via Bluetooth. The other 5 speakers would need to connect to the system by speaker wire.
A:AnswerNo, tv audio will not play on the speaker outside the 520 system. You can get tv audio to the other speakers by using the tv Bluetooth and not going thru the 520.
A:AnswerThese speakers have wires! The rear speakers had real long wires, thank god! Glad I have a crawl space under family room. The system I have is setup in corner of room. I had to run rear speaker wires under floor & behind sectional coach for rear speakers.
A:AnswerSystem has multiple HDMI inputs, Component (R/L) input, and Optical Input... and HDMI out. AKA you can use Optical input for connecting Multi room system and HDMI for Cable/Satellite TV... if that is what you are asking.
A:AnswerFor the best experience we suggest placing the center speaker below the TV screen, the front right and left within 3 feet of the TV screen and at ear height which is usually about 42" from the floor. Place the rear speakers behind you, also at ear height.
A:AnswerYeah that's the down side to proprietary connectors they use... honestly the only way you could use in in-wall plates with system is by cutting wires and then plugging into Cut end into RCA Plugs. But the issue with that it'd void warranty.
Honestly Bose speakers are not the highest quality speakers if you afford in wall wiring system I'd honestly suggest going to Sound Advice or Best Buy and buying speakers/receiver system separately. Which would be my first choice for your situation... personally these sound good enough and is a more affordable route.
A:AnswerBose does not publish these specifications. The reason for this is that we believe such statistics do not add very much to an understanding of an audio product's acoustic characteristics and, even worse, can be misleading. Audio manufacturers make these measurements independent of industry standards, and in varying conditions. We suggest listening for yourself!
