Yes it can rest on your lap no problem

Absolutely. You can’t dance with it on your lap but it remains solid even when playing an instrument or have multiple things going on. The light touch of iPad makes it useful lap or no lap.

Yes….sits on lap easily. Sometimes slips up of the groves it sits in though.( slips forward)
