My Spectre got hot once in the last two months that I've had it. I was using it normally, so I'm not sure what set it off. I had to put it to sleep. But the entire two months that I've had it, with the exception that one time it got hot and the fan started up, the Spectre has stayed silent, cool and working quickly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it runs warm with minimal use. Runs hot if you try to do anything remotely intensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Typing on a 2019 Spectre. The keyboard area is 110 degrees and the top-rear of the laptop is 120 degrees. Yeah, it gets hot!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, my first one was overheating so much that I brought it in THREE times, and they finally, just offered me a new one. I love this computer, so I took another one of the same kind. It is now overheating AGAIN! UGH.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It definitely does get hot really fast when doing thing that take a lot of processing power. But it doesn’t overheat to the point where it damages the computer or shuts off or anything. That is the only fault I have found in this computer for the month I have owned it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have noticed that this model does overheat at some points. It depends on what qualifies as normal usage. It does okay when browsing and using Microsoft office, gets a little heated when using the 3D ink program and gets warmer the more programs you’re running at the same time. I wouldn’t say that it gets too warm that it can’t be used anymore.
