QuestionI've heard that Spectre models run hot. Does this model have a problem with overheating? Have you noticed it getting too hot under normal usage?

- Answer My Spectre got hot once in the last two months that I've had it. I was using it normally, so I'm not sure what set it off. I had to put it to sleep. But the entire two months that I've had it, with the exception that one time it got hot and the fan started up, the Spectre has stayed silent, cool and working quickly.

- Answer I think it is a doorbuster. I was happy when I used it at $1400. Have had mine for about 3 years and it still remains the best laptop I have used. You can't go wrong with this one.

- Answer One USB-A and two USB-C ports. Highly recommend a USB-C dock for home use. They are really slick and only need one cable to hook up everything.

QuestionI take online classes that can last up to 1 1/2 hours on Zoom. I am curious if this will get hot while it is sitting on my lap. I have the same laptop in the 15 " screen and used it yesterday. And it did heat up quite a lot. Thx

- Answer I am taking online classes too and they are 3 hours long. I just bought this laptop in between semesters so I haven't used it for class yet, but I have noticed that the bottom can get hot after an hour or so of use. I am thinking that I will either set it on a table or turn it at a 45 degree angle (almost tablet mode) and set it on my bed to watch more like a TV screen.

QuestionWhat is the hard drive capacity for this laptop?

- Answer Depending on the model you can get up to 1TB. But this model has a built in 256GB SSD ( flash ). It is fine unless you are going to store GB's of movies and music and pictures. Most of the time you can store data in the cloud on to a local storage drive at home and won't need anymore than 256GB. Remember you only use 32GB or 64GB on your phone and this is many times more that storage.

- Answer Thank you for your question. Our computing models are discontinued mainly because of a new model being released soon. It is not clearance because of any issues or recalls and the model you would receive unless buying specifically open box will be new.
