I am also facing the same laptop on my brand new laptop. I paid $1100 and never expected will go through this pain. I sent it for repair also. They confirmed they replaced the fan, but the problem is not resolved. I don't know whether they test it properly or not before sending back to us after the repair. I can reproduce the issue within 5 mins I login into the laptop. They say they never observed this issue on my laptop. HP should really work hard and make sure these types of issues should never occur at least on the flagship laptops where the customers are paying 4 digit monney.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think it’s loud and mine hasn’t overheated any at all so far. Windows 10 was on it but you do have to finish the setup process which was quick and easy. No different than setting up an iPhone the first time. It guides you through the process in no time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fan noise is somewhat subjective so its difficult to say just at what level a person finds bothersome. The way the exhaust vents are designed make it whisper quiet when on a lap. However I use mine as a desktop workstation 60% of the time and when the HP X360 15 is sitting on a large flat surface, then the exhaust is noticeably louder, but still not what I would consider loud. It never runs hot in my experience and I doubt that overheating will be likely. The windows 10 home is ready to go and you just need to log in and start using.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Windows 10 is already set up, there should be no issues with fan noise or overheating.
