• You can buy a download code from Best Buy, or you can download it from the Switch's eShop. You ony need the internet to download it. It is a single-player campaign and does not requre internet to play (once you have downloaded it). You only need to have the Splatoon 2 main game, since this is an add-on to that game.

• Yes you can play dlc without internet. This is a digital download so you can only buy it online and they will email the code to you so you can redeem and download the dlc

• You need internet access to okay the game and you need the Nintendo switch online account.

• You can play the challenges offline, however, half the fun of the game is the multiplayer online. This can be purchased in store but the code will go to your email.
