• ours came with a power cord and everthing needed to hook it up

• Actually, the power cord IS included. It was already installed properly when the dishwasher arrived today. I've no idea why the specs say it is not. Perhaps they mean either an alternate power cord or an extension cord? In any case, that should be clarified IMO.
