“Has anyone extended the vent hose? If so I have a few questions: 1.) How far do you think it could be extended? 2.) What is the shape and diameter of the vent hose? 3.) would a dryer vent hose work for this?”

Step one for installation put the face cover over the dryer hose vent hole after connecting the hose for clearance If you do not have a dryer vent hole cut one out and put a dryer vent face plate on the outside and screw in Step two epoxy the connector plate in the location desired over the vent hole. Connect hose to plate plug in air conditioner it will blowout the hot air and cool any garage or room.You can always order a vent plate and hose from the air conditioner Manufacturer for replacement for a window if desired duel usage for a different room Just an Idea. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Extending the vent hose isn’t recommended as the exhaust fan is not powerful enough to push the air the extra distance. Your unit will work harder and wine cool as well.
