“Will this work well enough to replace the air conditioner in my apartment?”

If you live in low humidity area then this SPT would work. An A/C would be more better.

No way this SPT Air Cooler can ever replace an A/C and no stores do not even sale Air Coolers on Oahu. I had to special order mine for the mainland and I live in high humidity C country Waianae so I need Air cooler to blow directly on me to work. Outside my personal space no nothing!
I would recommend:

Definitely not.. If you wanna stay cool this summer the AC is best.
