I wouldn't recommend the use of this product in a humid environment. Evaporative coolers work on the premise that the relative humidity in the environment you're attempting to cool is much less than the ambient environment. Florida is far too humid most times of the year to make this an effective cooler. Consider a window-mounted air conditioner.
