• The square will work with most cel phones, but you need an earphone jack so the new iphones are more challenging since you would need an adapter. Hope that helps. We also learned that you have to set your headphone jacket to recognize that you are using the square.

• I use samsung but I am sure any phone does you can download the app and use it very easily

• No phones should take square card reader because the square company will rip them off and take their money and hold it for 90 days without giving them a reason.

• Any phone that still has a headphone jack will work - so the iPhone 10 will NOT without an adapter/
