Thanks for the question. First, make sure you're using the correct bracket for your washer; the SK-5A stacking kit comes with two sets of brackets, so it's possible you're using the wrong set. It's really helpful to have one person lift the back of the dryer and hold it in place to align the holes while a second person installs the screws. The bracket relies on the tension created by the weight of the dryer on the bracket to be most effective in keeping the dryer steady while the machines are in use. That tension would be significantly reduced if the holes were aligned while the dryer was resting on top of the washer without the screws in place. Also, be sure the side brackets are in place and the dryer legs have been removed prior to placing the dryer on top of the washer. Best of luck with the installation, and thanks for choosing Samsung!
