• The plastic is similar to that of other quality toy lightsabers.

• It was a gift for my grandson. I don't have the Saber with me. It's some sort of plastic but very solid firm and quite heavy for my grandson's complete approval. Not as easy to swing back and forth if it was thin flimsy type of plastic.

• It is made of a heavy plastic, very sturdy, very well made I must say, the kids and the big boy adult kids just loved them, the sound & light effect is fantastic, I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to play, and any Star Wars Fans like our family, worth every penny.
