Yes the entire blade lights up & they make like a unique Star Wars sound their awesome, highly recommend, and they only make the light & noise when you push the button but it lasts for about a full minute or so, but the button is right on top where your holding it so it is very easy to continue the sounds & light effect, the kids just loved them & the big kids loved them too
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The blade has a switch on the hilt that will turn the lights and sound on. Blade makes a sound when it is in motion or if you are swinging the blade around.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.IT HAS SOUNDS, BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE A SPECIFIC SOUND WHEN IN CONTACT WITH ANOTHER OBJECT TO DEPICT IT WAS "HIT". THE WHITE AREA ON THE PLASTIC OF THE SABER LIGHTS UP. IT CAN BE CONTROLLED HOW LOUD THE SOUND IS AND ALSO TURN OFF SOUND. THE LIGHT ISN'T EXTREMELY BRIGHT, BUT IT'S BRIGHT ENOUGH FOR A CHILD. IT'S NOT LIKE IN THE MOVIES.

Please try again later.I may have answered you but did not actually play with them yet, but did now, Their great, yes the full blade lights up white lights, makes a unique Star Wars sounds but keep it moving playing in battle and you have battle sound effects and it keeps going as long as you are. They are just great, made very well too. Highly recommend.
