I've never received a notification in the two decades that I've been using Best Buy's website. Your best bet is to sign up for in-stock alerts through a different service. Nowinstock and hotstock are free. There are a lot out there. I personally use the hotstock app and pay for the premium service on occasion, but the free version is typically fine.
