Into the Starfield
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing game! A instant classic for me, I love everything about it. It's all I wanted and more. Great collectors edition! Love the credit stick with the game code on it, feels great, has a lot of heft to it. The watch is great, very nice smart watch, though I do hope they follow through with their hypothetical updates that allow it to connect to the game and be used as a companion because as it is it's quite useless to me, I'm not that into smart watches. The case the watch comes in however is amazingly cool and really gives you something to show off on your collector's shelf. I drove 206 miles to pick up my copy from Fort Smith AR because no one has it in stock online and it was no where to be found locally. My only complaint (which doesn't reflect on the 5 stars I gave the game because it doesn't have anything to do with it) is that for some reason Best Buy decided to slap a huge yellow sticker on the smokth jacket of the box that has the starfield logo on it and absolutely ruined it because the sticker adhesive was so strong it took have the logo off with it when removed. So the slick looking white jacket that had all the constellation colours on it is no more. Please do better in the future Best Buy! Especially on collector's items!!!

Starfield: Where Space Odyssey Meets Comedy Gold!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gotta tell ya, folks, I've been waiting for Starfield since the dawn of time... or at least since Bethesda announced it. And let me tell you, it's been worth the cosmic wait! This game is out of this world in the most hysterically good way possible. First off, the graphics are so sharp that you could shave with them. I mean, you can see every pixel on those alien critters you're blasting into oblivion. But who wants to do that when you can befriend them, right? That's where the real fun begins. The storyline is epic, and I mean that in the literal sense. You're traveling through the vast expanse of space, discovering new planets, and unraveling the mysteries of the universe. But don't let the seriousness fool you; the game is loaded with humor that hits harder than a meteor impact. Bethesda must have hired a team of intergalactic stand-up comedians to write the dialogue because I've never laughed so hard at alien puns. The character customization is more extensive than a black hole's event horizon. You can create a space explorer that looks like a mix between a Wookiee and a disco ball. And believe me, you'll want to, because half the fun is watching your outrageous character interact with the in-game universe. NPCs react to your appearance, and let me tell you, they've seen a lot of weird stuff in space, but your character is something else! Now, let's talk about the spaceship. I named mine the "USS Belly Laughs," and it's just as customizable as your character. You can deck it out with neon lights, funky art, and even a karaoke machine. Space travel has never been so entertaining, especially when you're singing "Space Oddity" while dodging asteroids. And did I mention the space cats? Yes, there are space cats. They're like regular cats but with jetpacks. I don't know how that works, but I love it! In conclusion, Starfield is an absolute riot in space. It's the kind of game that makes you giggle like a cosmic jester and marvel at the universe simultaneously. It's an epic comedy wrapped in a space opera, and I can't recommend it enough. If you don't have it yet, why are you still reading this? Go get Starfield and embark on the wackiest space adventure of your life!

Amazing Fit, Finish, and Materials for Collectors
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While pricey for a collector's edition, unlike the build materials fiasco from Fallout 76 collector's edition, the materials and build quality of the physical stuff you get from this edition are top notch. The Steelcase: The Steelcase is standard fare, but for the digital edition comes with a fully painted METAL replica of a Cred Stick (currency in the game). It is satisfyingly heavy. It also has your game code on it which makes it unique. The Constellation Case: Again, pretty much everything that is supposed to be metal is metal. Even the Silver side straps are a nylon and are riveted to the case housing. I was really expecting those to be molded and painted details. The hinge does not have enough tension or detents to hold it open well, so be careful as it can slam shut, and if you have the metal locking bar rods extended, it could mar the finish of the aluminum side plates. Otherwise the case itself is amazing and worthy to be displayed. The Watch: Again, materials are spot on, metal where it's supposed to be, plastic where it's supposed to be. I like that it comes with two straps, a molded silicone one that matches the game, and a more comfortable (standard?) NATO nylon strap. The LCD display is pretty low resolution, but works with the NASA retro vibe. It's reasonably bright. Would've been great if it were OLED but then the battery life would be horrible and this collector's edition would cost $50 more. My main gripe is the Phone App and watch features are very limited. I would've liked to have seen some level of integration with the game. At the very least just display the current stats of your character or something. The Vibration notification is quite loud and annoying, but can thankfully be turned off in the App. The Patch: Decently thick, wish it came with two, so that one could be used and the other kept in the case for display. All in All, very much worth it. I subtracted 1 Star for the Watch being very limited but if I could do half stars, I would rate this Starfield Constellation Edition 4.5 Stars.

Outstanding Collector's Edition
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This comes with the digital Premium edition on Steam and all pre-order bonuses ($99.99). The premium edition comes with the base game and the Shattered Space Story Expansion. The game code is laser-etched onto a hefty, full metal replica Credit Stick that is used as the currency in game. This is kept in the steelbook (typically $10 separately) for display. It also comes with the digital art book and OST, a cool iron-on patch. The Chronomark smartwatch is a replica of the watch that your character wears in-game to access, menu's, life-support, etc, and is a 1/1 replica. It comes with a very well built display case and magnetic charging cable. The watch links to your phone via the official app, for notifications and updates. the watch isn't a touchscreen smartwatch like a Samsung Galaxy. Think older Garmin or Fitbit, which kind of makes sense, because your character can't use a touchscreen in games because of astronaut gloves, so buttons only. Overall everything is well built and considering $200 went to the smartwatch, display case, steelbook, replica credit stick and patch, I'd say it's a really great deal pricewise!

Best Gaming Experience Ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best purchase I've made in years! I love Skyrim and have put MANY hours into it, exploring, questing, and working on my little house. When Starfield was announced, I knew I'd love it too. Why? Because space operas are my favorite genre, and it's a Bethesda game. I was right! The game is so much fun, at 38 years old I feel like young gamer again, getting lost in the world and occasionally playing until waaaaaay too late/early in the morning. But what about the Constellation Edition itself? Incredible. The case feels like something you might legitimately have in a Nasa-punk future, and the watch is exactly like the one in game. It just makes me happy, that's all there is to it. Well worth the money for me!

Fantastic Collectors Edition
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game and excellent collectors edition. I love the watch, very functional, but my favorite piece is the cred chip with your game on it. Very weighty and looks just like the in-game version. If you're a fan of Bethesda and Starfield I cant recommend this enough.

Nifty Smart Watch and Enjoyable Game.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As for the game, it’s a normal BGS game exactly what I was expecting, I’ve dropped around 150 hours in. It’s an easy game to just relax and pick up and mess around for hours. The constellation watch case is higher quality than I had anticipated, BGS and their partners have put in more thought in than the previous title’s collectors edition. The collectors edition watch is very nice, it isn’t too bulky and doesn’t stand out too much. If you were to get the watch on eBay I’d recommend picking up a screen protector (I ordered mine on Amazon, but I’m sure best buy carries it) it’s just a 32mm round protector. Was it worth $300? Depends. I’ve put a bit of time into Starfield and have enjoyed every minute, if you’re a collector of gimmicky game memorabilia then I’d say yes it’s worth it.

Q: QuestionWill the windows collectors edition include the code for the steam platform? or just the microsoft store?
Asked by Daniel.
- A:Answer On the official website, it says the collectors (Constellation Edition) is only available for Xbox series or Steam. From my understanding if you buy the "Windows Edition" on BestBuy you will be getting a steam key. Called their cu service and they confirmed.

Q: QuestionI have two questions; I both have the Xbox series X and a high end PC. So, if I buy the PC version will it also be available on the Xbox? Will be cool to switch between the Xbox and the PC. And if I buy the PC version will it support using a controller?
Asked by SternSkov.
- A:Answer This game is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, so if you purchase for xbox you can play on xbox and on PC through the xbox games app. If you want to play it on Steam specifically though that will be a separate purchase. I am unsure however if the "Windows Version" gives a steam key or windows key for the microsoft store. Safest bet would be to buy for xbox so you can play both for sure.

Q: QuestionDoes the key get emailed to you upon release? Or do you have to wait the extra few days for shipping? Ideally it is emailed because that defeats the purpose of 5 days early access.
Asked by Garrett.
- A:Answer My guess is these will ship before release to prevent that issue. Since it is just a Steam key they don't have to worry about people playing early.

Q: QuestionWill this game (or game code) work with Steam, the Windows Store, or somewhere else? I had to have the Chronomark watch, but will be slightly disappointed if it limits my choice of game manager.
