Can this be installed on a boat? null

It can be but apparently it's not the best dish for that purpose. Starlink also sells a high performance dish that is just flat with no motors which helps on a marine vessel in motion. I did not know this and got stuck with the wrong dish because Best buy does not tell you there is a different dish in the high performance range for a vessel in motion.

There is a version that can be installed for maritime use. This unit requires a fixed point on the earth. I would imagine for boats, Starlink needs to keep adjusting the antenna as it floats on the water.

Yes, but how good it is woudl depend on where is your boat at any specific moment.
