“Can all 7 ports be used for charging devices?”

• Yes, it plugs into the wall so for charging it's essentially the same as plugging each device into an outlet.

• I cannot fully reply to this question. I have not yet tried to use all 7 ports for charging. So far I have my mouse and speaker plugged in. I have tried charging my smartphone but after an hour I had to unplug and use a wall outlet. I will try and do this again at a later date. I've also charged my iPod. I've yet to try charging my Kindle. So far the device is working to my satisfaction. I have no intention of overloading it to charge various devices. Sorry if I couldn't be of more assistance.

• Yes, it requires plug in to a wall outlet to power the unit, it doesn't pull from the PC. This is a great device that delivers extra USB ports to manage all your add on devices.
