“Does this come with a usb cord, and if so, what is the length of the usb cord? I cannot find a usb hub that I can use for my desktop put of the box. The belkin 7 port was ideal, but It seems to have vanished.”

Yes, there is a cord connecting the device to your computer's USB socket. I just did a rough measurement (still plugged in) and it's about 39 to 40 inches.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does come with a ~1M cord. It looks to be a standard usb-large connector usb. I've not tried different cords, but it should work with a good quality replacement cord if 1M isn't long enough.

It is installed into my desktop computer now and that is why unfortunately I can't give you a definite answer. This is a great hub and I have two now!
