The site shows $20 price tag because thats the suggested value. It also shows "not for individual sale" meaning you cant buy it for $20. Thus, free with pre order!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm the original poster to this question. I had to contact Best buy prior to the release to refund the charge. It was indeed a mistake on their system. When I changed my payment option, the cost updated and charged $20 for the case. I was able to get a refund however, after 30 mins with support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine came free when I ordered it online with the game disc version and shipped to the store. It did say at checkout that it was $20 but it was automatically deducted in my receipt.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That price is if you buy it seperately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it was a pre order bonus... now sold separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There shouldn't be a $20 fee associated with the Steelbook. If you think you've been charged, I would recommend contacting Best Buy support - they are very helpful and will look into it for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check your debit/credit card history to see if you were actually charged, if you haven't already. If you have, then contact Best Buy custom support and let them know. I'm sure they'll fix it. I looked at my pre-order on the Best Buy app and wasn't charged for the steel book, so they definitely are supposed to be a free promotional item with pre-orders. Often times they will sell steel books after the free ones with pre-orders get allocated, so the system may have charged you the retail price by mistake.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just checked my order on the Best Buy app and it still shows that mine is free with my order. I would check your debit or credit card purchase history to see if you were indeed charged for it, if you haven't done that already. If you were charged then get in touch with Best Buy customer support to let them know you were charged for something that was supposed to be a free promotional item. I'm sure they will correct the mistake and refund you the money. It may be that since they often sell these steel books after the ones that are given away with pre-orders have been allocated, it may have mistakenly charged you the retail price. Hope this helps.
