• No, when using Bluebooth you will switch the mouse over to Bluetooth mode and it should be able to connect without the USB C reciever.

• Most laptop and desktop you buy today already come with Bluetooth receiver, so you do not need the dongle to use the mouse, but if you do not have Bluetooth receiver you do need it or when you use Wifi mode you do need that dongle to use mouse.

• yes, to use it wirelessly, you need to plug the dongle into the usb cable coming from your computer. you can then take off the dongle to charge the mouse.
