Are these actual noise cancelling headset null

They may not be noise cancelling headphones but they do block A LOT of sound out. About not being able to hear yourself, you just adjust the sidetone up in the software and it helps tremendously. If you don't know what sidetone is, it plays back your voice through the headset so you dont end up talking louder than needed. Before you ask, no it doesn't sound funny or echo it actually just feels right. NOTE if you turn up sidetone too much it will make a terrible feedback squealing sound that will make you want to rip the headset off and throw it across the room to get away from the awful sound. Just take care when adjusting sidetone, normally only need to set it to 1 or 2. Love these headphones though.

Yeah you can’t hear much when they’re on your ears definitely good for noise canceling but you can’t hear yourself talk it’s kind of annoying

No they are not noise cancelling headphones, but they do a fairly good job of blocking some noise.

The microphone is noise cancelling, not the headset.
