The volume dial on the headset is independent from your windows settings. I do not believe they have an auto-off feature. Then come with an adapter cord so you can use them with generic Walkman esque audio ports. Would not want them to shut off unexpectantly while you were listening to a lengthy audiobook or playlist.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's only on the headset. This was a key decision making action for me, because I also use the headset for mobile. The headset also has the auto shutdown for battery saving.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my experience, it is independent on volume, meaning it will only change on the headsets volume. This headset will automatically shut down after about 5 minutes of no audio transfer
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It changes the volume only for the headset. IF the headset is plugged in, it will shut down on you, but I have not run across an auto shutdown as I have not ran it completely down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As already answered, the volume wheel only affects the volume for the headphones, not Windows' system volume settings. With the latest SteelSeries Engine, which you download from their website, the auto shut-off time can be set as follows: 5 min, 10 min, 30 min, 60 min, 90 min, or Never.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes to both answers. The wheel only changes the volume on the headset and they do have an "auto shutdown" feature. Don't hesitate to purchase these. Best headphones I have ever owned for the price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The volume control is analog, so it does not send any volume changes to Windows. Yes, they do have a 15 minute sleep timer that will power down the headset if no audio is present in order to save battery life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
