• Yes. wire will still be needed :) The wireless is only for pc, There are a few headsets that have the full wireless function for consoles Ex: Turtlebeach/astros/etc. Id recommend getting the arctis 5 if you're playing on xbox.

• Yeah. Sadly at the moment these headphones can only be connected to Xbox and phones via a wire.

• Xbox doesn't support standard USB audio, so these can't be used wirelessly. Arctis 3 is the better choice for XBox, connecting straight to the controller.

• Like most Xbox One gamers, you have to connect with a wire. It's a bummer, but that's Xbox. It's still not an issue on my end. I get so wrapped up in Battlefield 1 that I don't even recognize the wire. For all other formats (PC, home audio) they are wireless.
