Because the Xbox version is the only one that works with PC/Xbox/PS5. The PS5 version does not have the Xbox security chip required. So the Xbox version has the most compatibility of the two.

That is why people are buying the Xbox version since they can also connect there PlayStation to it as well. Microsoft does not like to share rights to wireless headsets so steelseries has to get the software confirmation and only can be used for Xbox.so loop hole is that you name everything on the device Xbox and other things USB. So the PlayStation and pc version from my understanding does not work on the Xbox because of that.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because the xbox version is the only one that works wirelessly on the xbox because of the xbox chip inside the headset. The PlayStation version has to be plugged into the xbox. So the better bet is to get the xbox version so it’s wireless for both consoles.
