Yes, the headset will detect when you are using your phone and will mute the game chat so you can talk on the phone without the party chat listening to your conversation. You will hear an audible tone when your game chat muted and when it resumes after you end the call.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't tested your direct question yet... However if on ps4 you can go into your party chat and hit options on your name and mute yourself. Then when done with your call you can unmute yourself and all is back to normal. Once I get a call I'll try to update you on this, or make a call maybe.
