• you can adjust it but not too much bigger, but you can go smaller a bit.

• The arrangement is a 'double band'- the outer hard plastic band that connects the two sides of the headphones and a second, inner elastic woven band that rides on top of your head. Used properly, your head never touches the hard band. The length of the elastic band is adjustable with Velcro (in much the same way as some caps or VR headsets}- so yes, you can adjust how high the headset rides on your head by shortening or lengthening the elastic part.
