Customers frequently mention the superb sound quality and long battery life as top features. Comfort is also praised, although some users note fit issues depending on head size. While the Bluetooth functionality and range are appreciated, a high price point and some software quirks are common criticisms.

I own these and the Corsair Virtuoso RGB SEs, for compare-contrast purposes. From a feel, I like the Arctic Pros much better. They feel lighter, given the adjustable head-strap setup, even if this is not the case, by weight. (I have not looked) There is a comfort and non-clunkiness in not having to check the sides and see what number you are on, etc. It just always fits and is easy-going, right from the start. So, the strap setup, which at first had me questioning design choices, is a plus. Also, the quality of the mic is stupendous. Furthermore, the retractable nature of it, in my opinion, is a very nice and significant add-on. Personally, I do not like mics dangling in my peripheral view, at all times. Thus, this minor design arrangement I find important. As for the sound, for the most part, I cannot distinguish too much of a difference, from a sound quality perspective. It is certainly very clear and I am not questioning it in that regard. However, given the hefty 300$ price-point, I am not sure if I completely feel like I am getting my monies’s worth. I suppose the extra is tied to the control box? Maybe the really good dual batteries? I have connected this to my PlayStation 4, Apple TV, and Android devices. It has worked well and without much difficulty. Overall, the headset is stellar, but will set you back a bit. It is not for your everyday gamer, in my estimation. However, if you are an audiophile or want the very best, plus a bunch of options, at least from what the price suggests, it will check-off those boxes.

Excellent headset, very much worth the heavy price this comes at. First, the build quality is much better then the previous iterations, no creaking noises when adjusting the headphones, can wear these for hours without my ears getting sweaty or head hurting (due to tight pressure). The adjustable band makes it easy to really adjust the comfort level and height of the headset Second, versatility, the DAC is amazing, I am able to hook my speakers to the module also so when the headphones are off I can use the speakers. The bluetooth is a great feature, I am able to add my phone to it, so whenever I get a call while gaming, the software automatically reduces the volume (or just mutes its depending on what setting you have ) and I am able to talk on the phone while still playing, The mic is pretty good also, not good enough for twitch streaming or podcasts, but more than enough for team coms during gameplay. The best part is that it retracts back into the headset when you are done with it. The light on the mic turns red when its mute which is very handy. Swap able batteries enables you to be wireless constantly, furthermore these batteries seem pretty common size, like something you find in a camera, therefore if something ever happens or you loose it buying a replacement is no biggy. Third, the sound is AMAZING, if you are a competitive gamer and really need to focus on where gunshot's, and player footsteps are, this headset does it the best. There are different EQ settings to fit your personal style. For me the best EQ setting is immersion with 7.1 surround sound. I am able to pinpoint where players are at when they are walking, even in games where you can barely hear footsteps (like Hell Let Loose). Played Escape from Tarkove and was easily able to tell if a player was behind me, on the other side of a wall/barrier and his general location just by them walking. On the DAC you can choose if you want more game sound or increase the chat volume (for example if you have discord up and have difficulty hearing your friends, you can move the slider so that you can hear VOIP better ). I am coming from a set of Beardynamic headsets that were a bit more expensive than these, and even though those headsets are praised for their audio quality, nothing beat the 7.1 engine on these steelseries for gaming. 11/10 highly recommend these headsets, however it is a very steep price to pay, but if you can save up the money its well worth the price.

Love the external battery backup. No need to wait for the battery internally to be charge. Best sound with the Sonar software if used on PC. Small and Lightweight vs the bulky Astro A50.

This arrived perfectly packaged and sealed to perfection 100% brand new. The headset is lightweight(barely feels like I’m wearing them even for numerous hours), earmuffs are really comfy and breathable, the recharging interface is amazingly easy to use and packed with nice features. You can customize the eq of the mic, eliminate a lot of background noise, control both video game and party chat volume..etc..I love that I can simply Bluetooth my phone to the interface and listen to music from my phone while chatting with my friends online in a chat or game session.(you can do this on consoles too, but it’s more convenient to have a device that does this separately.) The only flaw that I don’t like about this headset, like most of them, is I wish they were built with more durable materials(Metal/steel) instead of plastic in some spots..especially for this price point..Other than that, these are worth every penny.

Love love love this headset. I always had a had time justifying a $300 anything but this headset definitely makes up for that. I was weary in buying so expensive I wanted the very best when playing COD and I got what I wanted. This headset it's so easy to hear footsteps when trying to sneak up on people and my friends say I actually sound like a girl haha (use to sound like a lil boy.....)Everything is clearer and the fact that it's wireless and the batteries 2 batteries!! You can have 1 charging inside the chat mixer while the other one is powering your headset easily switchable when one dies its like icing on the cake with whip cream and chocolate sauce. If your on the fence because of the price trust me you will not regret spending the amount you cannot go wrong buying this. Trust me I've gone through sooooo many headsets but I would never ever trade this one.

I love this headset amazing sound, build and boy does it get loud don't need to put it at full volume, I needed to replace my astro a50's gen 2 headset because the battery was literally dieing with an hour after full charge, so I'll probably be using the Astros for my pc, but the steelseries is amazing on the capability of swapping the battery I've never experienced that but it's amazing all headsets should let you do this. I get about 9 to 10 hours on each battery so they give you two in the box, so that's 20 hours total, and it's so convenient to be gaming then when I can see the battery is going to die I switch out the battery put the dead battery in the transmitter which charges it so it's consistent long gaming sessions, microphone is awesome everyone says i sound clear I'm using these with a ps5.

I’ve used other wireless headsets, and I’ve found them wanting. Started with Sony Gold, the headband hinge broke. replaced that with Turtle Beach Stealth 520. They were good for about 2 years, until the charging cable port didn’t work anymore. A friend had Turtle Beach Stealth 700, but has had continued problems with it reliably connecting via Bluetooth. I tried a Plantronics Rig 800HS, but couldn’t get it to connec5 to chat. I called up Plantronics Support, they troubleshot the issue and advised me to return it. At this point I re-read the reviews of other wireless headsets and chose to get the Arctis Pro. I was not disappointed. It set up easily, with a control box with an OLED display that shows status, volume, input, and has a side slot to insert a battery pack to be charged. It comes with all cables needed to connect it to a PS4, including the TOSlink cable and everything else needed. It comes with 2 rechargeable battery packs, so you never have to worry about running out of charge. Although there is a charging port on the headset, it is way easier to just swap battery packs, because the headset outer covers are held on with magnets, so you just pop the rights and cover off, flick the old battery pack out, pop the fully charged one out of the control box and put it in the headset, and click the cover back on. The headband is steel, so it won’t break, but that doesn’t sit right on your head. Instead, there’s a fabric elastic strap, the call it a “ski goggle strap” that you can adjust to your desired tension. In use, it’s like the headband just floats on your head. The ear pads aren’t leather or plastic, they are breathable fabric covered foam, so you don’t get sweaty under the ear cups, and they don’t squeeze against the temples of your glasses if you wear them. The sound is awesome, and you can control the chat to game audio mix either from the headset (the volume control wheel can be pushed in as a button to switch modes), or from the control box. The sound is awesome, I can easily hear footsteps in a FPS, and you can also pair to your phone via Bluetooth, and switch to a call. The microphone retracts into the left ear cup when not needed, and contains a red LED lit when muted (also has a tone to confirm). It also comes with a foam windscreen to cut down on breathing noise and the like. The pushbutton to control muting is on the back top of the left ear cup, pushed in flush for talking and out for muted, so you don’t even need to look down at the mike if you don’t want to. Overall, this has been the best purchase I’ve made for gaming, probably as helpful as getting a custom controller (Scuf) to better my gaming.

The Arctis Pro Wireless Headset is a very good wireless headset with some really nice features. Having two batteries and a charger really should be the standard for wireless headsets. You can run the battery until the headset dies, swap for the charged battery, and continue use incredibly easily. The sound quality is fine, it's nothing to rave about, but it's decent, and the microphone quality is acceptable for a wireless microphone. It's a bit pricey, but I was mostly happy with my headset, so I bought one for my wife a few weeks ago. However, shortly after buying a second headset, I noticed that the one I had been using for about a year started to fit on my head poorly and rotated strangely. The plastic on the top of one of the earpieces had started to crack and the hinge started falling apart. The causes the one earpiece to hang loosely and the headset sits lopsided on my head. It's disappointing that such an expensive headset is falling apart less than a year later.

I’ve had the Gen 3 & 4 Astro A50s. I’ve had the Logitech G Pro X and the Corsair Virturoso. And none of them but the Corsair’s come close to the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless! Hands down the best sound my ears have ever had the pleasure to hear. I love them! SteelSeries out did themselves! Worth the buy!

I got the Arctis 1 wireless last year as my first headset, and they're great. But the Pros are such an amazing upgrade. I can use discord and use chat to play with friends when in cross-play, the personalization takes a min to get to your perfect preferences but well worth it. I currently have the PS4 but just ordered my PS5 and I am glad they'll be compatible with both. Also with Switch now supporting Bluetooth, I can use them for it also which is great! I already had Brainwavz Microsuede Earpads upgrade on my Arctis 1 Wireless and switched them to the pro and it's still a great upgrade for comfort.

These get a one star rating for a very sime reason. I bought them Nov 2020. The first set broke at the rotation point on the left headphone approx 6 months after buying them. I went theough the RMA process which was not too bad overall and it took about a month to receive a replacement. Another 6 months goes by and the exact same issue occurs but now its both sides. The casing is plastic and the connector is plastic and the design is flawed. When you wear the headphones depending on the size of your head they are going to be pulled at a particular angle which stresses the point that breaks and it's not a question of whether or not they will break it's a question of when they will break. You can look online, which I have, at blog after blog and complaint after complaint regarding the same exact break point in these headphones. Steel series should be ashamed of themselves for selling their Premier headphone with this kind of design flaw and not doing anything about it for as long as they have. As for sound quality and features they're probably the best headphones I've ever owned. If it wasn't for their shoddy construction, they'd get a 5 star review. They've never been dropped or missed handled and I've never left my racing rig they've simply been taken off and put on each day and and it's caused 2 sets of $300 headphones to break in less than 18 months. And in reality it's actually hundreds and thousands of sets of headphones. With the amount of RN a's that steal series must have already done they have to know there's an issue, Yet they still try to sell them with making no adjustments to their design process. It would be something as simple as adjusting the angle that they open at or easily open too so there are no longer stressing that proportion of the headphone not the headphone or maybe spending a few extra cents and making the connections out of metal just a thought for a $300 set of headphones. I'm going to try to RMA them again as I've been using them for the last 6 months after the left side broke and now the right side is finally broken. If I remember I'll post an update as to whether or not they accepted the 2nd RMA in 2 years. I don't know if the original warranty still applies. The problem with even having them replaced again is I know they will break with no excessive use or force just do to their construction so at this point I'd rather have my money back but that's never gonna happen so a new set of headphones hopefully will be sufficient. At least for another 6 months to a year.

Good quality and feel but the one I got seem to have been returned or a defected model. Right out of the box I noticed the bottom of one earcup was scuffed, which shouldnt be there if it is factory new. The audio DAC also had some white spots that actually did come off but im suspicious now that I have received a return or faulty model. Hopefully I will not have any issues from the one I received but buyer beware.

Let me just start by saying that I've been using these for quite some time. Impeccable sound and the mic is very perceptive. Sidetone is just such a nice feature. It lets you listen to your PC and seamlessly answer phone calls through bluetooth. Takes less than 10 seconds to replace the battery. I have my speaker system routed through the DAC that it comes with and when you turn on headphones it switches instantly. Make sure to download the Steelseries app to make adjustments. I recommend you put the OLED display to sleep when you don't need it to prevent a burn in. Couldn't be more happy. Money well spent in my book. After more than a year they're just as good as day one. A proper premium product.

This is a great piece of tech with a really faulty and cheaply built exterior. The left ear cup hinge will break leaving the cup hanging by the internal wires. This is a design fault many have encountered if you Google the product. My headset lasted about a year but many others' broke within a month. I have switched to an old Logitech pair that's wired. I've never had this issue with other headphones. It's quite a shame because the other features are great, very comfortable, swappable battery and great connectivity. I can't recommend unless this model, maybe the next one they'll fix the design flaw.
