The microphone is good, it has some noise-cancellation technology that reduces ambient sound. I use the microphone on this headset while my dog is barking and it picks up very little of his sound. The noise isolation for your ears are terrible. I can hear my dog barking loudly. So, Noise Cancellation on Mic = Great Noise Isolation on Headphones = Horrendous
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sound isolation is good outside of a 8-10 foot radius around you, but if the talkative person is within 8-10 feet, then their voice will bleed into the microphone some. It's not nearly as bad as other headsets I've used (like Turtle Beach ones with boom mics), since the mic on the headset is recessed on the left earpiece reminiscent of a Bluetooth mic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not see it picking up any noises around and you can hear very well when they are on your head.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought these today and the mic is very bad and im actually going to take these back later on in the week. It sounds like you are underwater. The sound is nice on it and I like the color but other than that the mic as horrible. I wish they still had the V2's In stock.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Alright, I had this problem too, you should be able to turn on mic optimization with the steel series drivers. Hope this helped, and if not, I would recommend keeping the headphones, because the only thing that has absolutely fantastic isolation is an actual mic. I would recommend a blue product, maybe the snowball or the yeti?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no mic has sound isolation. Only sound cards, and software does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The audio should be find but I had to put it on about 30% because above that people said it seemed like I was yelling and when the audio it's too loud it becomes un bearable, staticy and garbled
