“Do these speakers need to be mounted in an enclosure aka box?”

• You could mount them in a box, I just replace my old speakers. The stinger speakers were slightly bigger than my old ones. says 6 1/2 but I had to cut the hold a little bigger. They do sound great.

• The speakers do not have to be mounted in a sealed enclosure, but should be mounted on a surface that isolates the front soundwaves from the rear of the speaker to prevent sound cancelation from occurring.
