• Yes - these sticks are wireless...need a wi-fi router to feed them.

• Yes you need a WiFi router in your home to send data to ROKU.

• You would only need a router if your internet is not wireless.(Most cable company's are using wireless) If it's wireless all you need is your network username and password. From there you are on your way. Easy setup.
