Please take note that pad must be connected to power source at all times during heat therapy treatment. The pad does not charge and must be connected at all times to a power source (2A power source for optimal heat performance) Hope this helps. Have a good day!

• Hi, if you are referring to an electrical charge, the heating pad does not come with a battery, so you have to provide your own or plug it into some other kind of USB power source. Or if you mean how long does it take to heat up, it heats up quickly, within a minute or so.
