The second-generation Veranda model (SB-V-55-4KHDR-BL) supports both standard (SB-SP557-BL) and premium (SB-AW-SNDBR-S-B) all-weather soundbar versions - and also has built-in all-weather speakers. For larger areas or areas with a significant amount of ambient noise (traffic, etc.), the addition of an amplifier to power additional outdoor speakers (including subs) will always improve even sound distribution and bass.
