So for the Digital SPDIF Audio (fixed) should output at full max volume and volume control should be through connected amplifier or amplified device. For the 1/8" headphone jack, the volume is variable and controlled by the TV. We'd recommend checking volume level for the TV volume if connected by headphone Jack and the volume level on the amplifier or amplified device if connected through digital SPDIF jack.
