“I have a covered patio so it appears this TV is ideal. My existing TV is not exposed to direct sunlight but the glare from the fence makes it difficult to see the TV during the day/sunlight. When overcast it is fine. Does this TV do well against glare?”

This produces a great experience for the vast majority of viewing in fully shaded areas. However, if your fully shaded area has extremely high ambient light (reflection from a pool or high glare from a white fence at just the right angle), you may want to consider the SunBriteTV Signature Series. Signature Series TVs are also outdoor and 4K UHD, but their screens have an anti-glare coating and are up to 3 times brighter than many indoor TVs. This series is a step up in price from Veranda, but I think you'd be very happy with the performance and experience you'd have in this situation). Happy outdoor living!
