Thank you for asking! Regular indoor TVs, while bright enough for inside viewing, typically appear washed out in direct sunlight. Our recommendation, depending on the exact amount of direct sunlight and shade in the installation, would be the Signature or Pro Series outdoor SunBriteTVs. I have it under a deck and it works great however it's not in direct sunlight. The descriptions says not for direct sun light too. You would need the one that's like 4000.
