Will this hold a canon t5i? null

It works perfectly on my canon t6. It has to work in the t5i

If the camera has a standard tripod attachment screw thread on the bottom of it, then yes.

i wouldnt recommend using any high end electronic device with this tripod. Cheap quality that has already dropped my cell phone I could only imagine how it would handle something 5x that weight..
