All digital purchases get way more gold coins to use toward other digital purchases, so there is a disadvantage to physical purchases of Nintendo Switch games. I agree the coin is probably more of a perk for physical buyers, but that makes sense if you are a collector.

Because it's only through best buy. Digital copy is provided by the company itself. You paid best buy to buy the digital version for you. They don't have promotions for that.

Its because physical copies have to be either shipped or picked up in a store. A digital copy doesn't have any other cost. Like shipping an item or using gas to go to a store.
