“How many feet can motion be detected? If increased motion sensitivity does not work will switching to continuous recording (CR) capture from a further distance? How switch to CR? How long CR last for? If CR lasts 3 days does it auto overloop/record?”

Our system picked me up at a good 90-100 feet away going ACROSS the field of view. We were impressed.

Please try again later.Motion detection in my experience has not been an issue, in fact the distance is so good that I’m considering changing the sensitivity to lessen the number of alerts emailed to me every day. Example, the moment a car turns onto my street which is a distance in excess of 500 ft I get an alert and my system starts automatically recording. It’s been my experience with this system that I get so much information that I setup a separate email address for the the security system to use. I have 2 TB of space so I set the overwrite feature to auto and I still have month or more of previously recorded data so recording space really isn’t an issue.
