“How much recording time at record @1080 and playback @1080 for 16 cameras will this DVR hold? And, can I upgrade to a larger hard drive? I'd want a full week of recording and playback at full 1080. Can this system output via a S-video port?”

With the installed hdd, 12 cameras that came with the system and 3 regular dome cameras I had from another system, I was getting about 3 days of 1080 recording. I changed my recording nitrate fro the 4096 to 2048 on all my cameras and now I’m getting 7 days of recording.

The unit is able to store recording up to 60 days. You are able to upgrade the hard drive up to 4 TB. The ouput is for an HDMI cable or a VGA cable.
