Hello JimNEPhilly,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. The longest recommended run for this system is 300 feet. The BNC cable will carry the coaxial cable and a power line that will connect to the cameras power supply unit. The power adapter is about 3 feet. While the BNC cables can vary in size. Most commonly used is 60 feet, 100 feet, and 200 feet.

All camera cables and the recorder need to be in the same area. You could use a heavy extension cord if needed.
