Hi Dan9. This is a wired DVR system, you will need to run video/power cables between each camera & the back of the DVR box. In addition, you will need to run a network cable between the DVR box and your router if you wish to give it an internet connection to be able to view it remotely on your phone. Swann also sell a USB Wi-Fi antenna as an accessory if you prefer to connect the DVR via Wi-Fi to your router rather than using a network cable. - SD, Swann Team
