- Answer follow the directions on the manual provided for the app for your phone and yes you can program it to warn you or you can just check in anytime to see what is going on at home. It can also be programmed to your smart tv

- Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. There is a few variables that can contribute to the amount of hours recorded on to the 2 TB hard drive. The frames per second, number of cameras, and settings on recording can contribute to the overall storage space. QuestionWhat is the max distance you can run a camera? Does it require a single cable or can we connect a 60ft with a 100ft together? And I understand recordings are accessible via smartphones but is this only through the local network or over the internet?

- Answer It Varies depending on setting, mine is set only to record when it detects motion. my estimation is 2 weeks to a couple of months but I have had mine installed long enough to know exact and right now I’m only using 4 out of the eight cameras. Hope this helps
