Q: QuestionI have a mic hooked up . I can hear live audio but my recordings do not capture that audio , but when I’m watching recordings I am still hearing the live audio . My question is why does it not capture audio and save it ?

Q: QuestionDoes this record with a buffer? Meaning, when motion is triggered does it (or can it) include several seconds before the motion, in the recording?

• A:Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Yes the recorder will have a prerecord tab that must be enabled. This allows your DVR to record for a number of seconds before an event occurs. It is recommended to leave this enabled. Please let us know how we may further assist you, Thank you. • A:Answer From what I can tell, I’d have to buy a separate audio system to hear sound. So I’d say, no sound right out of the box.
