“Camera compatibility? Has anyone tried a different camera with this system such as a more advanced Swann camera or one not made by Swann? If so what kind and did it work?”

• Any camera will work but you need to have the same input to hook it up on the DVR

• I am using 4 cameras not made by Swann to complete the 8 channel surveillance and they are all working well. The Swann system works with any camera.

• Yes, a swann covert camera & yes it worked.
