“Can the length of time recorded for motion detection be adjusted? Ie. Most come set to only record 15 seconds after a motion is detected. Can this time be adjusted?”

Yes it can be set for a record time for each motion trip, as well as a 30s rollback in the recording. As for the time it gives several time settings to select from.
