“Does the system only record when its motion triggered? If so, is there a way to have it constantly be recording and view when needed? Sometimes incidents occur and if motion was not detected then there is no record..from that camera.”

I can do a manual recording per camera and will capture everything

Yes you can go into settings on DVR and turn off motion detection.You would set a camera to record 24/7.You would need to view or save recording time slot before DVR fills up and starts deleting.One thing I would suggest is that Swaan Support seems to be helpful when I have had issues.Overall very happy with the system.
