Hi Michael. Whilst this system would be OK for a small store, I'd recommend having a look at something from Swann's range that has a bit more capability. If you choose an 8 Channel recorder rather than 4 Channels, you will have the option to add additional cameras later if you wish to (up to a maximum of 8 cameras in total). A hard drive based recorder may also be worth considering rather than this SD Card one as the greater storage capacity will allow you to store far more clips, which may be useful in a busy store that may get hundreds of clips each day. A hard drive based system would also allow you to record 24/7 if you wish to. Something in 4K rather than 1080p would give you more resolution and allow to to zoom into faces with better detail if you need evidence of shoplifting or things of that nature. An alternative NVR system that could be a good option for you to look at is under model code SONVK-876804D-US (BestBuy SKU:6537382). Hope that helps. - SD, Swann Team
