“Earlier response to cable type says this system uses CAT3 cable (POE?), however the picture of what is in the box shows coax/BNC connectors with separate power connectors. What is the connection between the monitor system and the cameras?”

Hello Remo. I appreciate your interest in Swann. The cameras in this kit come with 60ft of BNC cable. The cable allows you to run video and audio off of the same cable. The DVR includes an HDMI port used to connect to a TV or monitor to display your cameras for local monitoring. LV - Swann Team
